This body oil deeply moisturizes and soothes dry skin & may help with the symptoms of minor cuts & scrapes, bug bites, eczema, psoriasis & a host of other skin irritations. This blend is equally loved in its pure oil form, or our body balm stick, (see store for 2oz balm). The ultimate motive being to nourish, heal, and safeguard your largest organ.

Some of the botanicals in this oil have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can aid in pain relief and reduce swelling and redness also. This oil is suitable for use on both the face and body, in fact we often use this oil as a facial cleansing oil & makes a fantastic massage oil for achy bods!

Ingredients: Local bees wax, Apricot kernel oil, Sweet almond oil, Organic grape seed oil, Organic Coconut oil, Organic Shea butter, Cacao butter, Jojoba oil, Goldenseal, Devils club, St Johns wort, Marigold, Rosehip, Yarrow, Red clover, hawthorn, Poplar bud, Pine, Plantain, Lemon balm, Chickweed, Frankincence, Ginger.

Apply as desired, perfect for dry, inflamed areas, minor cuts & scrapes, eczema or psoriasis affected areas as desired.

 Golden seal (Hydrastis canadensis): has potent antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, making it highly beneficial for those with skin conditions aiding with inflamation & infections.

Devil's Club (Oplopanax horridus) has wound Healing & anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, makeing it a powerful treatment for skin conditions and wounds. One of the properties in Devil’s Club -nerolidol- is used as a skin penetration enhancer in beauty products. The presence of nerolidol when applied to the skin, aids in the rapid delivery of pain relief to the affected area.

St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can effectively soothe bruises, burns, irritated skin, and help abrasions and cuts heal. Clinical studies have shown that St. John's Wort cream is highly effective in improving mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.

Wild Rosehips (Rosa acicularis) are a powerful ingredient that nourishes and protects the skin, fighting free radicals and preventing sun damage. Its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce redness and improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, fine lines, and discoloration. Some of its specific effects on the skin include acting as a natural antiseptic, tightening pores, reducing acne, calming inflammation, relieving pain and irritation, promoting pH balance, restoring moisture, and aiding in the healing of cuts, grazes, and scars.

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) is particularly concentrated in plant estrogen, also known as isoflavones, which improves the skin in numerous ways, including by stimulating the skin's natural collagen production system, increasing the skin’s thickness, and improving the skin’s moisture levels. 

Hawthorn (Crataegus mollis) berries' leaves, fruits, and flowers are abundant in antioxidants, vitamins, and bioflavonoids. These beneficial compounds aid in the removal of free radicals and toxins, preventing cell death and premature skin aging by promoting healthy cellular turnover.

Poplar bud (Populus balsamifera) oil, also known as Balm of Gilead, has medicinal properties for treating inflammation and various skin conditions.
